Ben & Jerry are the OG in creating rich, fun, and delicious ice cream flavors.  There is a lot in this book to learn if you're an ice cream addict and want to get your fix at home.  I think the strength of this book is that it can give beginners a straightforward and clear approach to mixing flavors and using base flavors to experiment without getting "too" exotic with ingredients and flavors.  For those are who less novice, it's a primer on their development process and how to have fun in the kitchen.

In 1978 Greenfield and his friend Ben Cohen opened Ben and Jerry's Homemade ice cream scoop shop in an old gas station in downtown Burlington, Vermont. The company has since opened almost 200 franchised shops and reports earnings of $237 million annually.
