Possom Hollow Cooks

A fun community cookbook from an Appalachian chapter of the Junior Women's Club in Hedersonville, NC. The recipes are more representative of what folks were eating in the 1970s and 1980s after the wider poplarization of culinary and food media wthin the United States. This is to say that many community cookbooks began to display similar dishes and recipes, but regional variances and recipe selections and preferences are still present. This book's cocktail recipes and pragmatic approach to putting dinner on the table are it's strongest points.
