Come learn all of the tips & tricks for creating delicate and lightly chewy macarons for your holiday cookie platter or hostess gifts.
In this class, participants will learn the following:
- How to build a proper macaron batter using the French "macaronage" technique.
- Create two traditional macaron fillings: Dark Chocolate-Amaro ganache and Raspberry gelée.
- How to pipe the perfect macaron shape consistently.
- How to bake macaron shells for the perfect chewy texture.
- Filling and storage.
This is a hands-on class for beginners. Students will be able to take home their macarons after class. Coffee and tea will be provided.
Allergen information: Certain common ingredients are stored and prepared in our kitchen and may be used in class. These include flour (wheat), eggs, dairy (cow's milk, cream, chocolate), peanuts, and tree nuts.
Important notes: Please note that cooking classes are nonrefundable. If you cannot attend a class after purchase you may gift your ticket to another person or attempt to schedule for another date - please contact us at least five days before your scheduled class.
