The iconic restaurant famous for "Breakfast at Brennan's" was a Creole favorite and New Orleans staple for decades before its closure in 2013. This 1965 edition highlights classic Creole recipes sprinkled with both family and restaurant history and seasoned with original illustrations. This collection is a must for anyone who loves the history of New Orleans, it's cuisine, or anyone interested in the unique Creole flavors of Southern Louisiana.

Our favorite thing about Brennan's New Orleans Cookbook is that it actively encourages readers to let the good times roll - we've estimated about 70% of the dessert recipes involve lighting ingredients on fire.  If that's not a reason to own this book, then we don't know what else is.
